From November 2021 to November 2022, apartment rentals have risen in price from 6.20% to 25.00% depending on the city. In the city of Victoria (British Columbia), apartment rental prices rose the most (+25.00% yoy). Vancouver is second in terms of price growth, with one-bedroom apartments up 19.00% year-on-year. As of November 2022, Vancouver remains Canada’s most expensive city by rental value. The average rental price for a one-bedroom apartment in Vancouver is $2,500.
